freakin' march madness. my bracket started out soooo good. i missed two games the first day, then like a million the next and a bazillion today. there's still hope! go gonzaga! ...jeeez.

ummm, so. spring break. woohoo. everyone's asleep in my house, and i'm not the least bit sleepy. soooo, xanga time!

i am so glad to be done with winter quarter. it killed me mentally, physically, grade-ly... i got a b in poly sci 102. yea, that's how bad this quarter kicked my ass. it's just nice to be home and on a couch, with no assignments or papers or tests or *journals or other crap looming over my shoulder. i'm sure give it a few days, i'll be bored out of my mind.

so before spring break, one last horse show at akron. it went a lot better than i think anyone expected. our horses did about 2/3 of the work, of course. haha, and i took care of "killer." big ol' bud, our 20-something year old, swaybacked, pregnant-looking horse. he's a celebrity with all the other schools, they love them. we just roll our eyes. that horse is hell to deal with when you're not sitting on him. when he was done with the first day's show, we took the muzzle off (yes, muzzle) so we could untack him. he's eating his hay, getting brushed, a perfectly happy time in any horse's life. what does bud do? bites a girl's leg and TEARS THROUGH THE BOOT. bud, that horse that all the other schools like? yea, the reason he's with us is that he BIT SOME GIRL'S CHIN OFF. literally. no exaggeration. for whatever reason, he hasn't tried to bite me. well, ok, he's tried but i think i'm the only one on the team who hits back hard enough, or is too crazy to not be scared. one of those. just chalk it up to the psycho horses at bonnybrook, i guess. anyways, bud and i "got along" just great this weekend. i did good at the show, two seconds. the team, though, not so good. bye bye regionals .

let's see, got a ticket on the way home from the show. 82 in a 65, whoops.

sola's coming back soon! i can't wait to go play with her. by play i mean hold on for dear life, lol. but she's perfect, really.

so, tomorrow: ud arena for the tourney games. nope, not seeing osu or unc... i'll be in the concession stands. woohoo.

Crash = best movie ever! I'm so glad it won an Oscar. I have such a refined taste, haha.

It's about time for an update, I suppose... certainly not time to start reading the pile of crap for my tutorial, that's for sure. I should work on that whole procrastination thing.

Bobcats are going to Cleveland! I want to go  too, but one last horse show on the same freakin weekend! Seriously: MAC Tourney, week before finals... perfect weekend for a horse show! NOT. It'll be sweet though - one final showdown between us and OSU for the region... on our horses

Um, what else... The boy and I finally picked an anniversary. March 15.

Because neither of us had a final that day. We're so romantic, lol.

Grr, I wanna go to Cleveland.

Wow, keeping up with this xanga business is tougher than I remember... this quarter has been non-stop. Fun times this weekend, up at Lake Erie College. Horse shows rock, especially when the indoor arena is an old ice-hockey rink. Aluminum siding ain't so warm. OU went into this weekend with a 16 point lead over Ohio State - pretty damn good. So yea, we blew it all on Saturday, losing to them by 15 points. It was ugly. We were depressed. I didn't place Saturday, but got second on Sunday! Haha, I rode Princess, the amazing NARCOLEPTIC horse . No joke, the horse was seriously narcoleptic. Her holder had to keep her walking so she didn't fall asleep. The whole time I was in the ring, I  kept thinking about that guy in 'Rat Race,' lol. We did pretty good, I figured good enough for like a 5th or 6th again. They announced those, so I was all ready to walk out of the ring... and then they called me for second place! I was like huh???? Are you sure? But anyways, not that interesting... I just thought it was hilarious that I did about four places better on a narcoleptic horse than I have on any normal horse yet.

Anyways...OU/BUFFALO game tonight. I hate them. Go Leon.

Ok, have to stop so my pesky little boyfriend can show me this "amazing" new bow he got. Toodles!

Yeaaaa, I know, It's been awhile. I blame school and homework and tutorials and other equally depressing and time-consuming things. Anything but myself, naturally

So many things to report on...Shelly's alive, though we faced a crises worthy of me hiding in the bathroom. But like a good mommy, I nursed her back to health. ...Then, I killed my fish  Poor Poke is no longer with us. I think we rescued Mabel in time, but she's quite fat. My mom said fish don't get fat: she hasn't seen Mabel!

Sola is the bestest horse in the OUET barn. And only I'm the only one who thinks that, lol.

Um, that's about it. Jonathan and I changed our anniversary, because in all honesty, we don't have one, lol! No more Valentine's Day with Afroman, now it's the MAC Finals in Cleveland. Yea, those are our choices for what moment was that start of "us." And the best part, neither of them are actually right.

Ok, I know no one is really that interested, time to go. I promise not to let this die off. It's been good to me.
